my dream bathroom.

So, this past weekend I spent a night at my friends beach house and couldn’t help but dream of the day that I’ll have a vacation house to entertain my friends who have been so kind to me. Sometimes I get so caught up in life and it was great to get together and just be silly and laugh until it hurts. For that, and the dream of someday having a bathroom as gorgeous as this, is enough to make this girl content.

I adore everything about this bathroom. I’ve never been a fan of shower curtains, so I’m loving the simple lines of the floor to ceiling linen shower curtain. The subway tiles (which are a little hard to see in this image) and the penny rounds(!) are classic and make this bathroom a timeless space that are anything but pretentious.

the rest is still unwritten.

Hey! I’ve never had a blog so it seems like a lot of pressure to post for the first time(!). My name is Lisa and I’m an interior designer in the NY metro area. I live with my high school sweetheart, Ryan, in a condo we bought and completely renovated ourselves last year. And now for the penny rounds…

Cafe style seating in kitchen

Possibly one of my favorite kitchens with an unexpected penny round flooring! I love the industrial feel of the hanging cooking accessories with the classic cafe style chairs.

Loving the all over mosaic!
